Webinar - Introduction to Histiocytic Disorders: What Every Clinician Should Know

This webinar is the first in a new educational series organized by the Educational Committee of the Histiocyte Society, aimed at increasing awareness and improving early recognition of histiocytic disorders across clinical settings. The session will provide a practical, clinician-oriented overview of histiocytic diseases, focusing on when to suspect these rare conditions and how to navigate the diagnostic pathway. Vasanta Nanduri will cover key aspects of Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), while Francesco Pegoraro will address non-LCH histiocytic disorders, highlighting clinical red flags, diagnostic challenges, and the role of multidisciplinary evaluation. This webinar is designed for clinicians at all levels who may encounter patients with unexplained inflammatory, multisystem, or oncologic presentations and wish to strengthen their diagnostic approach to histiocytic disorders.
