The deadline to submit abstracts has been extented to

Abstract Submission Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Can I submit a case report/study?  Yes.  We will accept case reports/case studies.

  2. If my abstract has already been accepted to another conference, can I still submit it for the Society meeting? Yes.  As long as the abstract has not been published, it can be submitted to the Society meeting as well.

  3. Should I still submit an abstract if I do not yet know if I can attend the meeting? Yes.  If your abstract is accepted and you later determine that you are unable to attend the meeting, you can just let us know.  Alternatively, see the next question.

  4. Will there be an opportunity to present my abstract virtually?  Yes and no.  If your abstract is chosen for oral presentation, we require that you attend the meeting to present.  However, we are working on setting up the technology to be able to present posters virtually during our poster session.

  5. Do I need to know whether or not I will be attending in person at the time I submit my abstract?  No.  We do not need to know that now.  We can figure out the details of that as the meeting gets closer.
Note: Abstracts that do not comply with the following instructions and Abstract Guidelines will be rejected and will need to be resubmitted before the May 23, 5:00pm Eastern Time (US) deadline.
